Ancestral Journeys
Jen Baldwin is a genealogist and family historian, and the North American Acquisition & Advocacy Manager and Global Ambassador Program Lead for Findmypast.
Her personal research journey began at the age of ten, and life experiences have led to an expertise in the Western United States. She has authored articles for Archives.com, IrishCentral, IrishLives Remembered, and the In-Depth Genealogist, among others, along with her own blog, Ancestral Breezes. Additionally, she has written eight research guides on a variety of topics, published by Legacy QuickGuides, and is a course author for the National Institute of Genealogical Studies. She is a speaker, lecturing on technology, social media, the Colorado gold rush, fraternal societies, and more. She also conducted research for season two of the popular PBS series, Genealogy Roadshow. Jen has previously volunteered wit the Federation of Genealogical Societies and the Larimer County Genealogical Society (CO). She was one of the co-creators of the first Twitter genealogy chat, #genchat, and founder of Conference Keeper. (Both initiatives have now taken on new leadership.) |
